I really wasn't sure where to ask, so I just kinda picked a random page with a picture lol. Thank you for getting back to me, I really appreciate it. However, when I click on the red link, it tells me that the action I want to perform is reserved for those int he Administrators group. Is there a way around that, or how would I join that group? you removed the login to edit? I see you do not have to login to edit now. I see a lot of spammers today that did not create an account. you can now edit pages without being logged in.

I also noticed, is captcha gone? I used to see it if I mistyped my password, don't know if it did any good, but I don't see it now. would it help having to type captcha when creating new accounts? Mizuki 15:04, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

I dont think the names should be there either. someone had removed all the names on March 31, but I see someone recently added all the names back on the page and added more.

new skin

I see you used the background from the Runes of Magic site, looks nice. but when you do view history of a page, the text does not show up good on the two lines you are comparing. Mizuki 17:11, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

I know this is bad place for this, but you talk about polish subdomain. I think is all in Category:Polish_translation and Category:Polish translation Functions, but not in 100%, so please don't move actual Runes_of_Magic_Wiki/pl, until i check it.

It will remain on the English wiki until I am sure I have gotten all of your pages over. found more that I can not see. when I log on there is a white bar at top saying I have new messages, I cant see the text in that white bar. on recent changes when I click diff next to Attributes there is white lines there on the compare page and I cant see the text in those white lines. I'm sorry for the tragic writing Wynthyst i have request - you can check, why id from e.g. div#content be more important than #tablelinks, and why in table on this site bad working with id or class? If i check e.g. normal text in div if i unmark standard color (google chrome console) links have my color, but tables, can have only standard of my color (blue for a), not e.g. a:visited (light purple). I want do this id/class for my old tables (with color), because old colors links is better for it. I'll take this one. Most likely, the issue is just with the visited link colors. The problem is, the MediaWiki software injects some CSS at the end that redefines that and puts an !important on it, so in order to change it ourselves, we not only have to use !important too, we need a more specific declaration (in this case, div#content a:visited). You can achieve the same results for your table with the same approach by being more specific than that. div#content #tablelinks a, div#content #tablelinks a:visited { color: #0000ff !important; } (changing the color to whatever the old one was) in either MediaWiki:Common.css or MediaWiki:Vector.css. Never mind the above. I got myself confused with something MediaWiki does for links to pages that don't exist yet. In this case, there's a minor CSS error just above causing browsers to ignore CSS below. I'll correct it. Eyes 21:48, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Wynthyst i have new questions - you can change default (if you are logout) language to polish?
You can add here or in other form text to translate from Curse "netbar" (on top site)? Most important is Welcome, xxx and My user page, but if you can give it me i want translate all Curse menu (top and bottom).
Text to translate now be bugged? E.g. menu Curse (e.g. merge account) change text after edit, but e.g. Created page with, time or text Other reason in Block, Secure, Delete site after edit still be in English, and some text was in Polish on this site, but i saw it in English.

You can enable or if we don't have this, install gadgets extension (bookmarks in preferences). I think is we have this (e.g. Cat "captcha"), but you can enable it?
I install on polish subdomain Edittools, and Site (needed for all extension).

The Polish wiki has same extensions as the English wiki, and unless you can demonstrate in great detail why you need additional extensions to do the same job as the English wiki only in Polish, I don't see any need to add more. -- Wynthyst talk 03:23, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

I saw Edittools on MediaWiki, and with it work is very fast, this have mayby all wikicode in icon, and help. With this new users can easier write their articles, and this is translated to polish.

Messages, but rather Curse extensions (e.g. migrate account) i traslate, because, i myself want know what is this, so i can translate this in this same time. Other messages, because, if it is to be polish wiki, should be in polish ;)
Write new articles now is hard to me, without images, because in 95% articles i use it, and i want look have it looks.
Today, i can repair table, and mayby not done articles or such that not need images.

Tables

Hmm, what is wrong with table after new skin?

Look here, you can tell how DISABLE right padding (mayby 6px), i search in Vector, Common css, and in google chrome console.
I converted 3 tables, it is easier for you to understand.
Padding not can be on - value, but i don't want have 6px from all side.

First of all, as soon as the default language is set to Polish (on Monday), all the messages will automatically be in polish, that's part of how Media Wiki works. Secondly, there is absolutely NOTHING stopping you from copy/pasting a page from the English wiki, then simply translating the text. The images will all be imported early in the week. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish with the tables, but there is nothing in the new skin that should limit or change how they work. -- Wynthyst talk 21:23, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

For what purpose you add auto margin to table, if it does not change anything, because this is not the margin, and the padding?
Why you delete MediaWiki:Group-sysop.css? This is only for Admins

Tables: NOOO, look for 2 or 3 table - you see from right side about 6px line, it is here after new skin, and this is padding from html ( e.g. padding: 0 6px 0 0 or padding-right: 6px ), i want delete it.
MediaWiki:Group-sysop.css: this code working only for admins, e.g. normal users still see it, do you mean that the person who knows the curiosity looked at here and copied the code? If yes, i can paste this code to my css style?

You can put it in your user css file, but not anything global. It's a really bad message to send to users that they have to see it but admins do not. I would prefer you find a way to eliminate it that didn't include anything visible on the wiki (such as your css file), but I am not going to stop you from doing it. But do not publicly discuss how to do it (instruct other users, etc.). I also have no idea what the problem is with the tables, they look fine to me aside from the ghastly colors. -- Wynthyst talk 23:47, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Yyy, so i already moved all sites of the info (rights, helps, etc.), this is polish subdomain, so this can be in polish :X
Look to e.g. http://pl.minecraftwiki.net/ (i hate this game ;)) this too have standard polish on this subdomain.
And that not logged users can see Polish, that's good, because they understand what's going on ^^

You can not really ask people from the infobox to change it, for example, pop-up window when you hover over the "news" on the top site? Or something else that was a lot of space on articles?

All extension to wiki can be on [1] - this is very fast way to translate it to a lot of languages, on this site you can find advice who add translate system, etc. Infobox takes up 1/4 of width articles. I have read the messages, I have indicated that I would discuss with our team a polish subdomain on archeage, but at this point we don't feel it's necessary. As for a private contact, you are welcome to post on my talk pages, I get notified of every one... as of now we are focusing on getting this wiki migrated to the Gamepedia platform. Collapsible Tables

I was wondering if you could possibly add functionality for collapsible tables to the MediaWiki:Common.js file, as it is on Wikipedia...you can see information on what I'm talking about here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Collapsing - the javascript file is linked in the opening paragraph. front page

what is wrong with the front page? Runes_of_Magic_Wiki says

The database did not find the text of a page that it should have found, named "Runes of Magic Wiki" .

This is usually caused by following an outdated diff or history link to a page that has been deleted.

If this is not the case, you may have found a bug in the software. Please report this to an administrator, making note of the URL.

history still shows the text is still there, but page won't show. Yuumi (talk) 04:17, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

We are experiencing this problem network wide. It's something in our memcache configuration and the team is working on resolving it. In the meantime, it can be fixed by purging the page by adding ?action=purge to the end of the URL and hitting enter. This should resolve the problem. -- Wynthyst talk 04:51, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
